Esperero Canyon Middle School’s biggest fundraising of the year! The goal is to raise $25,000+.

 

The Silent Disco will be held during your student’s PE class on Friday, 10/17/25. During the Silent Disco, students will listen to music wearing provided wireless headphones rather than traditional loudspeakers. Through their headphones, they can tune into 1 of 3 channels of music being played by the DJ on stage. Each channel lights up in a different color so the kids can change back and forth between the 3 based on what their peers are listening to at the time.

 

Money raised will go towards a NEW AIR HOCKEY TABLE + improvements for the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). This space is in need of updated audio equipment, visual technology and much more! These updates will enhance all school performances held in the MPR including: choir, band, orchestra and school assemblies!

 

3 ways you can help:

 

1. Register your student online:

• Go to mybooster.com (please see the bottom of this page for info about optional fees)

• Click "I'm a Parent/Guardian" to create your account

• Enter your name, email, etc.

• Search for Esperero Canyon Middle School

• Enter students name and advisory teacher.

  • Locating your student’s advisory teacher: log into your ParentVUE account online. Next, click on the Class Schedule tab. Then click on Semester 1, located on the upper right of the current “today” schedule. On this page you will see the 0 period listed with your student’s advisory teacher’s name.

• Click the box "Terms of Participation"

• Start pledging by clicking "Enter Pledge" or "View Participant's Dashboard" to get links to share with friends and family.

• Please share with friends and family using the “Share” button on mybooster.com  in order to maximize your student’s donation total. 

*ALL students will participate regardless of whether or not they are Registered. However, only Registered students are able to collect Pledges and help us raise money for ECMS.

2. Buy a Sponsorship AD for only $300 

• This sponsorship opportunity will put the business’s name front and center on the banner located at the gate of the school, highlighted on the school’s Facebook/Instagram & website page as well as ParentSquare, Eagle Express weekly newsletter & mybooster.com. 3. Volunteer to help the day of the event​

• Use sign up on Parent Square.

 

Students will earn rewards when certain price points are met:

 

$5,000     Bring a stuffed animal to school day

 

$10,000    Dress like a teacher/Teachers dress like a student

 

$15,000    Crazy Hat/Crazy Hair Day

 

$20,000    Anything but a backpack day

 

$25,000    Movie Day

 

In addition, if 75% of the school REGISTERS, 1 student will receive a Grand Prize from a Virtual Raffle Drawing!

 

Advisory Class Final Rewards:

 

1st Place: Eegee’s & Popcorn Bar

2nd Place: Eegee’s Party

3rd Place: Popcorn Party

 

Students will receive daily progress during morning announcements and lunch in the following areas:

• How much money has been raised?

• Which Advisory teachers are in 1st, 2nd, 3rd place based on dollars pledged?

• What % of the school has REGISTERED?

• How many states in the US and other Countries have someone who has PLEDGED?

• What rewards have been earned so far?

A note about optional fees on My Booster:

My Booster charges a 15% Platform Fee for payments on mybooster.com. This fee is to cover the costs of the online website, registration, payments and reports. 

 

You will be asked if you’d like to cover the 15% platform fee when you make a pledge. This is OPTIONAL. You are under no obligation to pay this additional amount. We would hate for someone to not make a pledge because of the excess fees. The FFO will pay for them at the end of the event. Please be sure to uncheck the box asking if you’d like to cover the fees if you choose not to.

 

If you are paying with cash or check and would like for both of us to avoid the platform fee, there are several ways you can: 

1. Fill out this form. 

2. Zelle the pledge with a note including student name & advisory teacher, your name and email to ecmsffotreasurer@gmail.com (Please note this is the Treasurer’s email which is linked to our bank account, not the President’s email).

3. Leave a check (made out to: ECMS FFO) or cash in an envelope in the front office. Please include student name, advisory teacher, your name, email and the amount.

 

The FFO will manually enter the student and pledge. They will still receive full credit for the pledge and the FFO will keep 100% of your pledge.
